I'm attracted to this piece for some reason but I'm not sure why. It might be the temperature, high key of it plus I like textures and items added to work. I'm experimenting with non-objective work myself and it's a lot harder than I thought.

really like the conceptual aspect of this work. good possible collection. your work is inspiring and will keep it in my list of artists to watch. how is art selling for you in this economic crisis? I hope you are doing well. We wish you the best, artist to artist.

Kindred Spirits in the sense that the process you speak of is similar; no idea taken directly to the soup of sensual materials and tools, only the question of what will arrive next in a moment of creative activity. Your ecclectic treatment of the motifs also rings true; no need to be tied to style, only freedom to met what arrives...very wonderful to view your work.

This feels ancient, symbolic, and primitive. Saved talismans . Objects of special places and events.

About Dale Witherow

Dale Witherow

I began painting seriously after retiring. I currently exhibit abstracts, but my roots are in landscape painting. I tend to float between the two. I work mainly in acrylics but often include other media. I have recently added digital components to my work. I believe that " everything" is a self portrait. I currently exhibit in Olympia,WA . @Dale Witherow 2016
